Davide Morabito is a documentary filmmaker and creative producer with over twenty-five years of international experience. After his beginnings as an assistant director, he built a career developing documentary films for Italian and international markets and working with major production companies and Hollywood studios on special content for Disney-20th Century, Universal and Paramount.

Among his most recognized works is The Colosseum in Quarantine (History Channel), produced with the Colosseum Archaeological Park and distributed internationally. He has signed projects for Rai Fiction, Sky Cinema, Radio Canada/CBC and directed reportages in Iraq and the Mediterranean.

His documentaries explore identity, memory, empathy and the deep connection between people and places, as in Unknown Path, Italian Love Promises and My Italian Cousin Steven. He has served on the board of Doc/It and teaches master classes in film schools, continuing to develop films and stories that illuminate the relationship between cultures, history and contemporaneity.
